Welcome Dr. Masek!

Please join us in welcoming our newest optometrist, Eliot Masek, OD to Missouri Eye Consultants! Dr. Masek brings 10 years of primary care clinical experience to MEC. 

Dr. Masek is a native of Fulton, Missouri and completed his undergraduate studies in 2006 with a degree in Biology from Truman State University. He graduated from The University of Missouri St. Louis Optometry School in 2010. Dr. Masek then completed an Ocular Disease and Low Vision Rehabilitation residency at the Illinois College of Optometry where he met his wife and fellow Missouri Eye Consultants optometrist, Dr. Melissa Liepins-Masek. They have two young sons and reside in Columbia.  

Outside of work you can find Dr. Masek spending time with his family, rooting for Mizzou sports, the Kansas City Chiefs, and the St. Louis Cardinals. He enjoys spending time on the family farm and doing all things outdoors. A fun fact about Dr. Masek is that he has lived in Hawaii, Australia, and San Diego, California. 

Dr. Masek treats patients of all ages but particularly enjoys pediatrics and geriatrics.
